Twilight's Last Gleaming

The first book in the Spangled Banner Series, Twilight's Last Gleaming is about ordinary U. S. citizens taking on terrorism in their own backyard. Gleaned from today's headlines and possibly tomorrow's, the heroes in Twilight's Last Gleaming are regular folks who, by the nature of their jobs, are this country's front line defenders in the war against terror: America's truckers. The accidental discovery of plans for attacks brings Homeland Security, the military and truckers together in a battle against overwhelming odds of deeply-embedded operatives, multiple targets and long-distance deceit.
