In prose and painting Steven O'Brien and Joe Machine have delved into the mythic matter of Britain, and Ireland. They have re-cast the ancient stories of these islands for fresh ears and eyes. Steven O'Brien is a widely widely published peot, editior of The London Magazine, and lectures at the University of Portsmouth, where he leads the MA in Creative Writing.
