Each poem is compelling in its own right; packaged together, they offer a powerful and intentional narrative. Celia Jaipaul knows how to capture real challenges and sorrows, all the while calling forth God's pardoning grace and persistent love."

The poems in this collection were inspired by deep, personal feelings and experiences. They explore themes that are familiar to all of us: baptism, parental presence and guidance, old age, the need for personal and world peace, belonging, preservation, and God's grace and forgiveness. They show we are not alone and weave us together as one people of God.
