The Bull

Since Mom left it's just been Jake and Dad. They do the best they can, but when that's not enough they go to the desert for salvation. There's a payday there if Jake listens, if he does what Dad says. If Jake can fight. But what's left after all the punches are thrown? Two boys bloodied by devotion. What's settled in the dirt ring? Everything--for a time. Dad says this is the last fight. The last time Jake needs to scrap. But what kind of last fight will it be? They call Jake "The Bull."
