Dialogues with the Abyss is a series of talks with what most people consider the unfathomable: Death, Time, Love, Tyranny, Suicide, The Holocaust and many more. On ancient maps these were the unexplored places often described as Beyond Here There be Dragons. Scott Mulhern has entered into dialogues with these persons, places, conditions and things that are thought of as unthinkable in order to understand how they see themselves. Who are we, what are we, where are we, why are we and what are we to do to face reality as the human race inches ever closer to an abyss which it must confront in order to survive. These dialogues provide a rare opportunity for the reader to enter the consciousness of its subjects as they speak both eloquently and terrifyingly about who or what they are and how they view their relationships with the human race.
