Islam, the Arabic word for "submission to God's will," is the religious tradition taught by the prophet Muhammad; this religion is also known as Islam, and its practitioners are called Muslims (or Moslems). Now the body would finally receive its proper due in a book known as the Qur'an; thus descriptions of the Islamic paradise are dedicated to pleasure and sensuality of every kind. And to support my view here is the Muslim poet Muhammad Iqbal (d. 1938): "All drink the wine of bodily indulgence, leading lives of ease without strife." This book contains two passages: The Hadith: The Sayings of Muhammad, and The Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad Into Heaven, as well as an Editor's Introduction.
