Seven Effective Laws of Christian Personal Growth

A young man was born in a big Kingdom. Before he could grow to the level of knowing his status in the society and Kingdom in particular his parents died in an accident. As a result of that he was sent to a distant Kingdom to be raised as a servant. Seven persons were sent with him into the new Kingdom. When they got there they were giving decent quarters to stay and a monthly allocation by the king of the new Kingdom he did this because he knew he knew the boy's parents. The young boy grew up knowing only the head servant whose name was Daniel. Everyone in the household looked up to Daniel as the head and Daniel himself carried himself about like a prince. He ensured that every heard within the household bowed unto him. To say the least indeed he lauded it over everyone including the young boy. Daniel was so high-handed that everyone in the household felt the negative impact of his actions and inactions chief of which was the demand for extra homage to him. His actions were so overbearing that one day one of the younger sermons under him revolted. The servant went to the young woman and said. "Command me to slap this man"The offended man was speaking to the young boy and the subject of the absurd request was Daniel. The three of them we are together in the room. The young boy was surprised because he had never seen anybody speak as such and what more he was being asked to give permission. Why would anyone need his permission to override the almighty Daniel? He thought it was the joke of the century but when the offended person continues to pester him and Daniel to lose his composure, the young man out of curiosity give the permission. To the surprise of the young man the person that made the request actually slapped Daniel. That singular events lead to a number of things. At the end of the turning and turning God use that event to open the eyes of the young man to his own status. All this while he did not know that he was a prince and that's the only reason why he was in exile was that his father wrote a will that should he die prematurely the sun should not be allowed to rule. He must be sent into exile and we should remain there till he discovered his status. So all this while that he had been in exile he was being downtrodden and treated like a slave but he could not exact his rights as a prince because he was ignorant of his status. The Bible says it all. A prince who does not know his place is at the same level with a slave even in his father's house. Every believer has a power and authority and these powers and authorities enables us to do exploit in life in and in ministry. However when we are ignorant of our rights and powers as believers we operate at the same level as babies and slaves even though and despite the fact that our father in heaven owns the whole earth and the fullness thereof. Can anyone therefore be justified for remaining a baby at a time when is supposed to be an expert cracking bones and rightly dividing the word of Truth? An immature Christian I repeat is that the same level with an unbeliever. His or her case is her is akin to that of a highly literate and educated man who refuses to read. Such a man who is well-educated but refuses to read is at the same level with an illiterate since to both of them what is written remains meaningless. In light of the above it is without being saying that everyone is Christian will seek to grow. In Hebrew 5:11 we hear the Apostle Paul lamenting the fact that there were so many persons in the church who are the time they were supposed to be teachers still needed to be taught the basic elements of Christianity such as water baptism. However can such persons exercise their rights in Christ Jesus? The Bible book of Hosea 4:6 laments also that my people perish for lack of knowledge. Our Lord Jesus Christ himself says that the truth will know makes us free. Thank God that you have this book in your hands.
