The Beatles | 1964 US Albums In Mono (2024 Reissues)
1964 was the year America first fell in love with The Beatles with an unprecedented string of chart-topping albums and singles that sold millions of copies. But these albums are not just copies of the 1963 and 1964 albums that Parlophone released in the UK and around the world. Capitol Records and United Artists saw another opportunity and assembled these albums for release in the US between January 1964 and March 1965.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the seminal period when Beatlemania exploded in the US, six of their US albums are being reissued on vinyl and collected in a deluxe 8LP box set that includes the exclusive bonus double LP 'The Beatles Story'.
The new vinyls (180g.) were cut by Kevin Reeves at Nashville's East Iris Studios with constant reference to the original vinyl first pressings to ensure they are faithful to the original release, while allowing more and clearer musical details to be heard than was possible before. They all feature faithfully replicated artwork and new four-panel essays by American The Beatles historian and author Bruce Spizer.
