People are vanishing from the town of Steadworth, Texas without a trace. The townsfolk are stunned to learn the sheriffs Dept. have no leads. How does someone simply vanish without evidence?

That is until six-year-old Brooke Bennett is taken from Dillard Hill Playground from right under her mother's nose-and, just like the others, vanished without a trace. Almost. Whoever took Brooke left only one clue: two drag marks in the playground's wood chips leading away from the slide.
