Analytical and Experimental Investigation of the Effect of Dyes on Solar Distillation

Abstract: Effect of various dyes in desalination of sea water was experimented upon. A theoretical model of the deep basin still was also made. Both the experiments and theory matched. It was found that black dye increased the evaporation of sea water by almost 40 % over the control.
