Hack Murtaugh and Aaron Blodgett raise hell at Cooper Greens, where they had moved expecting to comfortably live for the rest of their lives. Events, most of their own making, however, and mostly humorous, intercede. The victims of their shenanigans infiltrate the plot in the same indifferent way dandelions invade a lawn. Beware: some of their dialogue is as off-color as the braying of unloved mules.
