You and your little graduates will love this delightful story about a donkey whose friendship with different animals

makes him very happy. One day all of his animal friends danced and sang together on their way to the park.

DEEFA was so excited. He put on his favourite green backpack, his yellow scarf, and his four red boots. Everyone was happy. They chirped, barked, shrieked, brayed and danced on their way to the park. They found an orange arrow pointing to the track to the park on a big orange and green tree.




DEEFA and his mates: magpies, cockatoos and boxer dogs had fun and showed their good nature and friendship towards DEEFA by going to the park with him. Then it happened. On a rainy day, the friendship was demonstrated by DEEFA's mates when DEEFA had an accident at the park. DEEFA fell over and hurt his leg. Poor DEEFA! He didn't know what to do! He said "hee-haw" "hee-haw"' in a very loud voice. The other animals crowded around DEEFA wondering what to do also. They were never too far from DEEFA because they all loved him, so help was always close by. The birds fluttered around his neck until his yellow scarf fell off. The birds wrapped it around DEEFA's leg. They were all very tired when they got home. DEEFA and his mates went to sleep on DEEFA's bed smiling.
