In the years leading up to 2084, seven separate men and women across the globe find themselves battling with their own personal frailties and human tragedies. Two young Scottish scientists stumble across rogue comet Schenkler HMM2 entering the Kuiper Belt, inadvertently captured by an Israeli astrophysicist, which threatens to destroy planet Earth. They share their hacked findings with a Times journalist friend and soon find themselves targeted by US and UK government authorities. Add to the mix a NASA Space Commander returning from Mars to discover his marriage is in tatters, his NASA controller friend, an alcoholic, being drawn into the murder investigation of his wife, and a Jewish geneticist who requires to upscale her DNA fertilisation and embryology programme. Suddenly, the seven find themselves drawn together in order to fight for survival against the ultimate global disaster - Armageddon! This is their compelling story and mankind's ultimate destiny.
