Heindt - The End of Yesterdays

All endings have a beginning.

An enemy, unlike anything anyone had seen, waged a devastating war that decimated the country. It was only stopped by the sacrifices of many, and an uneasy peace settled. Ten years later, the peace was taken for granted and the enemy was no longer feared.

Keiara and her son Vell had survived the war and found a home in a quiet town. Working as a mercenary to provide for her family, Keiara learns of a mission that could put them all in danger. She now must decide how to face this new threat to the most important thing in her life, her son Vell.

Set in a sword-clashing, horse-riding, fantasy world with a dash of science-fiction, the Heindt series tells a story about how events affect the characters, and the characters affect events. Everyone has a journey to take, whether it is an actual journey or just a journey of experience. And often times, a new beginning requires something to end. To face your tomorrow, your yesterday has to end.
