The Abbot's Book: a Gothic Tale

A tale of horror in the classic gothic tradition, The Abbot's Book follows four generations of a noble Italian family and their response to temptation and corruption brought about by a mysterious book. The story takes place in 17th century Italy, and is a spiritual heir to Poe and Lovecraft, as well as classic gothic fiction like "The Monk", and "The Mysteries of Udolpho". Contains numerous illustrations by a host of exceptional artists collaborating with the author.
