Rocco is the lead singer of the Bleeding Werewolves rock band. After 20 years of performing as a werewolf, he thinks he's turning into one. Doc Johansson is a depressed psychologist, too busy with his own existential crisis over his wife's death to see he's almost as big a mess as Rocco. Doc and Rocco take off to work on the childhood mystery triggering Rocco's delusions. Meanwhile, to cover for Rocco while he's away-and to keep the paparazzi off his trail, the rock band sets up a tidy hoax involving alien abductions and a Rocco impersonator.
