Short and Tall Tales of the Old West

The most dramatic lava beds are in Craters of the Moon National Park, but the lavies in Idaho run from Idaho Falls in the east to the mountains in the middle upper portions of Idaho. Many ranches still exist in the thousands of open acres that encompass a land of sagebrush and lava rocks. All of it is as deadly in the heat of Summer as it is in the cold of Winter. The following people survived that life to find love, perhaps even romance in the deadly desert.
