Running like the Wind

Running, always running. She is frantic and alone searching her parents summer home for supplies. The storm outside mysteriously matches the intensity of her emotions. Could they be linked? She is running for her life, only three days ago everything was normal and seemingly fine until both her and her parents were kidnapped by a strange man, only to escape by leaving her parents and a city she had called home behind. Were they still alive, and what did her dad mean by find the medallion? Her world only becomes more twisted and mysterious when her pursuer finds her. She escapes again with her life only to be thrown into her past and possibly her key to survival for the future. As she learns more about her past and her new protector, life is only becoming more complicated especially after they face the man with a cane and his entire cohort. Pulling from a power she does not know or even understand, will she be able to save herself without bringing her to the brink of death?
