Ian Mcpherson is known by many names; Luigi, Angus and a few we probably can't publish. His life has been extraordinary, starting with very humble beginnings as a son of an immigrant in Scotland to the heady high life of London in the 1960's which saw him hobnobbing with the rich and famous. His mémoirs are a joy to read. His life was richer than fiction and he now resides in his native Edinburgh, wandering the streets in his brightly coloured chords, his scruffy, worn waxed jacket and his well worn shoes. Angus, as I know him, is a kind, generous man - a true gentleman.
