Airing of ITIL Grievances

ITIL is the most widely accepted IT service management framework in the world. It's probably the most criticized as well. Ever wonder why people and businesses don't embrace the framework? There's a ton of material on "why ITIL" and how best to go about implementing it, but no one seems to acknowledge the conversations taking place every day about why ITIL should be avoided.
