Grow Your Stock Exchange with Futures and Options: a Guide to Understanding These Financial Instruments

Financial and commodity futures and options can greatly enhance and grow stock exchange activity. Likewise, these products improve the overall condition of a country's financial community and economy. The material in this book is both introductory and comprehensive, starting with the basics and expanding into the many practical and business applications for futures and options. Growing Your Stock Exchange with Futures and Options illustrates how these exchange-traded financial instruments benefit all customers: speculators and hedgers, portfolio managers, corporations, farmers, food wholesalers, oil producers, and others who deal in buying or selling securities and other commodities. It also discusses the risks and concerns associated with these derivatives.
Drawing on his broad professional experience, Mr. Rubin is available for consultation and implementation of these financial products tailored to the specific needs of stock and commodity exchanges.

About the Author
Charlie Rubin has served as CEO for stock and futures brokerage firms. He has held senior management positions at stock and futures exchanges, and was responsible for the modification of the New York Stock Exchange settlement system that became the settlement system for the New York Futures Exchange. Over the past 20 years, besides consulting in the US, Mr. Rubin has consulted on a variety of securities and commodity derivative projects in many countries including Australia, Barbados, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Korea, Libya, Montenegro, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Trinidad-Tobago, and the UK. This has included providing workshops on futures and options that correlate to the contents of this book. His work continues with stock and commodity exchanges, including enhancing trading and settlement systems to accommodate futures and options; and to revise customer recordkeeping and accounting systems to include these derivatives transactions.

Mr. Rubin has also presented his internet on-line course about understanding futures and options in conjunction with the Jamaica Stock Exchange and a university in Jamaica.

He has created this informative, easy to understand book and welcomes your feedback.
