Spinning Threads

I've heard that all great stories are about love. And so, according to Juliana, it follows that all great loves are about stories. About living out these stories, yes, but even more importantly, about learning how to spin them.

Spinning Threads follows a young woman named Penelope who, upon receiving her first assignment at a luxury magazine in New York, sets out to write an article about one of the residents at a retirement community in Naples, Florida. After her arrival, a hurricane hits and forces the community to go on lockdown, preventing Penelope from being able to leave.

Although reluctant to be there in the first place, Penelope develops a friendship with one of the residents-Juliana, becomes involved in a decades-old mystery, and begins a new romance. She soon realizes she has a choice to make: does she go back to her comfortable life in New York or should she sacrifice everything's she's known in order to put an end to the loss of innocent lives?
