The coming of age of age story of two professional football players, JJ is a AllPro lineman from Texas who has endured many Hardships, including the death of his father at a young age, a mother consumed by drug addiction, and firsthand racism before graduating college and making it to the pros. Chase, a rookie quarterback also from Texas, deals with his own set of problems. From his parents divorce to the pressures of gaining acceptance from his father, he confronts the truth to his privilege.
