This is Joe Public Speaking: The Clash, as told by the fans

"The Clash, a band who profoundly touched the people who saw and heard them like no other rock group in history. To understand precisely why would take at least 84,000 words written by those very individuals, whose experiences occurred in different countries and cultures across the world - which is exactly what this amazing and endlessly fascinating collection of memories is."Pat Gilbert: Author of Passion Is A Fashion: The Real Story of The ClashIn the summer of 2018 I was approached by the BBC to assist with a project on The Clash. The BBC wanted contributions from fans for the planned podcasts & short films. Some contributions were indeed used but so many of these great stories/memories would have just gathered dust. So, I decided to put them into an ebook for the whole world to read. I was very fortunate to also get contributions from Pat Gilbert: "Passion is a Fashion", The Godfather of all Clash literature - Chris Salewicz: "Redemption Song", Randal Doane "Stealing All Transmissions", Mark Andersen & Ralph Heibutzki, "We Are The Clash" plus super contributions from original Clash Roadie "The Baker", Tim Satchwell author of "Combat Ready - The Clash" etc etc, Plus other top authors: Tony Beesley, Marguerite Van Cook, Frank Moriarty committed their writing talents ...but above all it has the untold fans stories. All royalties from this book will go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London. No one is making any money out of this.
