Treatise is the threequel in the ongoing historical, adventure story, 'Pillars of the Moon'. The haphazard photographer Brian Alexander, and Shawna Brooke, a Makah princess, are drawn back to Belize with the hopes of finally settling the ongoing turmoil that has plagued their lives. The events surrounding a priceless, antiquated jade-bowl have once again drawn them to Belmopan to help find their missing friend Henry Whitmore, the head of the Archaeological Society of Belize. The story begins along the peaceful, pristine shores of Puget Sound, with three determined souls digging for mollusk shells. While there, unbeknownst to them, a thread of events starts to unravel. Brian, Shawna and a professional colleague are watched, followed, and then run off the road while they endeavor to return to a life of normality along the beautiful, southern shores of British Columbia and Olympic Peninsula. Their nemesis, a timeless being with great influence, has a long arm that reaches from Belmopan in Belize, to the rocky shores of Cape Flattery. Can they escape its grasp?
