Demographical and medical statistics of patients are required by the radiation oncology department of the Sozialmedizinisches Zentrum Ost ? Donauspital (SMZO) to improve their radiation therapy workflow and processes. The patient information is stored in a radiation oncology information system called Lantis. As the amount of patient data increases over time, the need for descriptive statistics rises. This book takes a closer look at how data is extracted from Lantis and how the extracted data is transformed into statistical charts.
