Climate change is major problem these days with precipitation becoming more unpredictable and less in the semi arid tropics. Droughts have also become very frequent especially in the pastoral communities. This causes shortage of animal feed and water amongst these communities. Consequently, violent conflict maybe caused by this as each community tries to get food and water for their livestock. Migration is also frequent during droughts and as communities move and pass by neighboring ones, conflict may arise in the process. However, these communities have devised ways of coping and adapting to climate change.
