History of leadership education has shown tensions between its means and ends. Tensions become more apparent in contemporary educational institutions that deliver graduate leadership education. This is a case study of a Leadership Graduate Program (LP) It is job-embedded: theory and practice are united in the participants workplaces, where they show leadership competency in 20 areas. It stresses the importance of the participants individuality to develop a teaching-learning community of leaders. This qualitative study is useful to professionals in Leadership-related areas such as Education, Graduate Leadership Programs, Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations, CEOs of public and private organizations, and coordinators of NGOs, national and international leadership associations.
