Performance: a Social Constructionist Way in the Second Language Classroom

Performance is a way in the second language classroom that methodologically combine the interactive view of language with a relational theory of learning. As scenarios and contexts perpetually change in social interactions, so they also do in the Performance Method in the second language classroom. To ground the Performance Method locally means to ground it on locations. Locations have no boundaries and they are ubiquitously and weaved together. The social interaction on the location is real when the students agree it to be so. To do performance include three things: First; students need to be willing to interact jointly; second, students take steps forward to be part of the community on that particular location; and third, the content of the jointly interaction must enrich the community. Performance in the second language classroom follows its own rules as students step forward and focus of power with each other.
