"Is anybody there?"Long time widowed friends, Alice and Margaret, spend the night dabbling with an Ouija board, unknowingly disturbing the spirit of Dandy, and unlocking a decades-old mystery in their neighbourhood. Dandy Burdock, a latchkey pauper born in the slums of 1950's London, leads a simple life until his teenage bubble is shattered by the murder of his mother. Becoming the author of his own destiny, he struggles to find his place in society whilst hiding away ina backstreet pub with his friend and mentor, Cornish Marcus. Secrets and lies soon track Dandy down, forcing him to make a decision that will plague him both in life and death.
