Professor Nightshade, Headmaster of Silver Spring Academy, is charged with teaching the Blood Key Pair, and their companions, how to use their magic and to keep the safe. The longer he can keep Sarah and David's blood away from the Black Riders, the more they can learn to in order to defeat the Shadow Lords once and for all. But all is not as it seems at Silver Spring Academy. There are those within its walls that conspire to get close to David and Sarah to recover their Blood Magic in any way possible.
