Poetry handbook for robots

We were just two strangers whom life brought together in Rome on New Year's Day 2029. It was a long time ago, now I am just an old man clinging to his memories, but I still think I feel her when I close my eyes. I crossed the world again and again because of the promise of meeting her again and I can assure you, my friend, that all the doubts, the waiting and the pain were compensated by just one of her looks, by a simple touch of her hand, by the warmth of her lips. This is also the story of the people who helped me along the way but, above all, it is ours. The story of how we learned to love, to live, to discover those little things that the abyss of Time cannot swallow. Today, if you'll allow me, I'd like to tell it to you.
