Alabama Shakes | I Must Be Dreaming

The album "I Must Be Dreaming" is the first new album from Alabama Shakes in more than a decade. It builds upon the fearless and experimental sound of "Sound & Color" (2015), but moves even further into an intense and psychedelic soul universe. The songs revolve around the passage of time, mortality, love in all its forms, and the sometimes surreal experience of modern life.

The album was produced by Alabama Shakes together with long-time collaborator Shawn Everett and recorded at Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio in Nashville. The result is an album that retains the band's characteristic energy, but simultaneously explores more atmospheric and dreamy soundscapes with an impressive sense of atmosphere and detail.
