Set in 17th century Kanagawa, the series tells the story of one-armed swordsman Fujiki Gennosuke and blind samurai Irako Seigen - both disciples of Iwamoto Kogan, Japan's greatest swordsman - and both competitors in Lord Tokugawa Tadanaga's deadly samurai tournament.
