Dreadzone
Formed in London in 1993, Dreadzone’s name was coined by Don Letts, who has contributed the foreword to this 30th anniversary pressing of their second and most successful album; a boundary-breaking blend of electronic instruments, folk and Celtic music, sampling and dub experimentation conceived as a celebration of multicultural Britain
With contributions from reggae legend Earl Sixteen and Miranda Sex Garden’s Donna McKevitt, it features the group's biggest UK single, ‘Little Britain’, here (at the request of the artist) in the vocal form that the band have always played live, rather than the instrumental that was on the original release.
The lacquers have been cut from the original analogue sources by long-time Dreadzone mastering engineer, Matt Colton, at Metropolis Studios.
