Originally released in 1985, drummer Mike Stephan's group became one of the fastest hip bebop 'Best New Combo' throughout Los Angeles. Seventh Avenue's live gigs were always sold out with standing room only crowds enjoying the club scenes at Donte's, Carmelo's and was one of the top three finalists at the Playboy Jazz Festival competition.
