Little League

The first book in a new series that follows two boys on two separate teams as they work their way to the Little League World Series. The final book in the series will coincide with the Little League 75th Anniversary in 2014. Eleven-year-old cousins who are closer than most brothers, catcher Liam McCarthy and pitcher Carter Jones, grew up playing baseball together. Their big dream—for now—is winning the greatest championship of all: the Little League Baseball World Series. This first book follows the two cousins as their dream of playing baseball side-by-side is shattered when Liam moves away and is forced to play for a rival team. They soon learn that their love of baseball could also tear them apart.
